This survey is for families with young children (age four and younger) who live or work in Richmond, Chesterfield, and Henrico.
Our organization is called Thrive Birth to Five. We are a non-profit in central Virginia that works to strengthen the early childhood care and education system for children birth to five. We are working to build the supply of child care in your area and want to make sure that these offerings meet your specific needs.
We want to learn where you most want child care to be available (as in which neighborhood) and when you most want child care to be available (as in which hours and days). Even if you are currently highly satisfied with your child care options, we want to know that, too.
This survey is being administered by the Center for Public Policy in the L. Douglas Wilder School of Government and Public Affairs at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU).
Your responses will be stored on a secure VCU server and kept confidential by the research team. Your name will never be associated with any of your responses, and all findings will be reported in aggregate to preserve confidentiality. To thank you for your time, we will be providing a $20 electronic gift card to the first 200 verified respondents.
A human reviewer will check for fraudulent responses before issuing gift cards and only one gift card will be issued per household.
